One of the main attractions for which Memphis is known is Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley. Visit in January to see the remembrances held here for the anniversary of Elvis' death. Another location that is well known in Memphis is the Civil Rights Museum located at the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.

If you're looking for sports, Memphis is the place to visit. Memphis is home to the Redbirds baseball team, playing at Autozone Park.
